Konsthantverk is a local and quintessentially Swedish company that has been making lamps in their small factory for almost 100 years. And when they say manufactured - they mean manufactured! Not just assembling the lamps, but actually welding, drilling, screwing, shaping and all elements of the lamps! Konsthantverk also has its own glassblowing workshop where the glass lamps are produced. The lamps are made by human hands, not machines, which is why they are so well crafted.
The result of all this is fantastic lamps with unique craftsmanship, but still at an affordable price. Konsthantverk is not trying to take over the world one lamp at a time, but is content to be a small local company where personality and human hands are still involved and everything that leaves the factory is filled with soul. Konsthantverk has a beautiful collection of different and raw lamps. The Rustik pendant, Strapatz lamps, Kanna pendant and Kavaljer wall light, among others, have become very popular and hang in many homes around Scandinavia and the rest of the world.
In addition to the beautiful collection, Konsthantverk also produces custom products and has been responsible for street lighting on "Biblioteksgatan" in Stockholm and the ceiling light in the "Kennedy Center" in Washington. Designers Sabina Grubbesson, Sami Kallio and Johan Carpner are behind the beautiful lamps, each with a different approach to design. Unique and with an industrial touch that makes the lamps unique with personality.
