Denmark's next classic is now available as a table and floor lamp
When the shapely Musling pendant won first place in the television program "Denmark's Next Classic", the lamp received special praise for its distinctive shape and elegant light, and just one glance at the beautiful creation shows that the recognition is fully justified. With its consistent design concept, organic expression and elegant appearance, the pendant creates a perfect balance between classic and timeless elements that draws on Danish design tradition but still manages to stand out. In the wake of its success, the Musling Pendant has been expanded into an entire series that also includes a floor lamp and a table lamp in the same elegant design. Like the pendant, the lamps have a frame in genuine, untreated brass and a shade of mouth-blown opal glass. Brass patinates over time and therefore changes character, while the mouth-blown manufacturing process gives the shade individual variations right from the start, making each lamp unique. Opal glass is a sought-after material in modern as well as classic design, as it has both a sophisticated visual appearance and at the same time spreads the light out in a uniform glow that creates a beautiful light pattern.

The brain behind Musling is the Copenhagen-based design studio Ahm & Lund founded by designer Isabel Ahm and joiner Signe Lund. Together they work at the intersection of craftsmanship and design with a common understanding of aesthetic sustainability and long-lasting design. This approach is evident in the design of Musling, which, with its classic quality materials and simple yet unique appearance, has a timeless character that makes it an eternally stylish addition to any room. There is no need to replace the lamp with new models when fashions change, but instead have a true design object of high aesthetic value that beautifies and enriches the interior year after year.
