Melek Wall light Opal/Rust is characterised by an appealing design and a soft light quality that makes it a sought-after light source in a wide range of rooms and interiors. The lamp has a characteristic torchiere shape with a narrow frame and a white lampshade in opal glass. Behind it is an E14 socket that can be fitted with several different types of bulbs. When the lamp is switched on, the light shines out through the lampshade itself and through the opening at the wide end of the lampshade. The white, matt surface of the glass ensures efficient light emission in a soft and uniform glow, while the fan shape of the shade ensures that the light entering through the opening at the top of the lampshade is well diffused and emphasises the beautiful basic shape of the lamp. The overall light pattern is soft and unfocussed, making it ideal as a supplementary backlight in everything from living rooms and hallways to corridors and bedrooms.
