Background
Tage Klint was the son of P.V. Jensen Klint and was the creative mind, who in 1943 chose to make the Klint family’s hand-folding into a business. With this, Tage Klint founded the company Le Klint.

Tage Klint was an educated surveyor, but in 1920 he was convinced by Thomas B. Thrige to join the car factory “Triangel” in Odense. In the same period Tage Klint also founded the companies “Lactosan” and “Sanovo”.

Tage Klint was the designer behind the unique collar for the Le Klint lamps, and that was one of the reasons why the Le Klint lamps were popular then and still are it today.

He also designed a lot of popular lamps and lampshades for Le Klint.
