Verpan Lamps
Verpan is a product of the Danish design tradition that has put Denmark on the world map for functional, modern and unique design. In 2003, Verpan started production of their lighting elements, which today decorate many homes around the world. They have an ongoing process of picking and choosing products from Verner Panton's treasure chest and bringing them back to life. Verner Panton is a household name in Denmark today, and it's great to see his designer lamps brought back to life.
Verner Panton's legacy
An eternal classic is created by the curious blend of a timeless, fresh look with excellent design and edge, and that indefinable something that very few people manage to create. Verner Panton has managed to do just that in lighting, furniture and some amazing total solutions.
Verpan is based on a deep and deep-rooted love for Verner Panton's amazing creations, and his designs bring value to the visual world around us.
All Verpan products stand out as some of Verner Panton's most elegant and memorable designs. Verpan has a unique range of lighting design products, all characterized by Verner Panton himself, who is one of the true rebels and pioneers of lighting and furniture design, where he has become an icon.
VP Globe
One of the best known from Verpan's product range must be the VP Globe. The pendant lamp is one of the most beautiful with its transparent acrylic sphere, originally designed by Verner Panton in 1969. It's a true classic that decorates any home. Globe is available in acrylic or aluminum framed by a beautiful glass ball. Inside the lamp are five reflectors with different lacquered colors that create a pleasant light outcome in your home. Globe is the optimal pendant for hanging over the dining table. It's a lamp where you are guaranteed high quality and you receive a certificate with the lamp's unique number.
Spiral
Verpan's product range consists of pendants, table lamps, floor lamps and wall lights. Another of their unique pendulums is Spiral. Spiral is a beautiful pendant lamp made of long spirals of acrylic attached to the lamp with small metal rings. The pendants, which hang uniquely on the beautiful lamp, create a sense of calm in a still restlessly beautiful and majestic lamp. The Spiral series consists of pendant lights available with either one, two or three clusters of horizontally aligned spirals and is available in silver or gold. This Spiral pendant is another statement piece and a true classic from Verner Panton's original designs.
Wire
In addition to stunning pendants, Verpan also has unique table lamps that create interesting lines. The Wire table lamp is an iconic lamp originally designed in 1972. The shape represents a light bulb with its soft and round shapes, which creates a calmness when looking at it. On top of the lamp is a plastic shade that comes in white, yellow, orange or red. Besides the colors, you can also get this table lamp in two sizes or as a floor lamp. The skeleton of the lamp itself is chrome-plated and gently winds up to the plastic shade that covers the bulb to prevent glare.
With a rock-solid dedication and faithfulness to his vision and ideas, Verner Panton managed to create designs that provided a distinct, creative design language that shocked his contemporaries and those around him and continues to amaze people even today.
