Can I order by email or fax?
No, we don't. For security reasons, we do not accept orders by email or fax. You can call customer service on +353 818 003 354 to be guided through the web shop and help you add items to the shopping basket, but you must actively participate in the buying process.
Once I have purchased an item, when will the amount be debited from my bank account?
Only when the goods are dispatched will the amount be deducted from your bank account.
How can I pay?
Payment for ordered goods can be made online using Visa & Mastercard. You can see all costs in the step before you authorise your order.
Can I pay after the goods have been delivered to my door?
Answer. You must enter payment card information to complete your purchase in Lampmasters's web shop. However, we will not deduct the amount from your bank account until the goods are dispatched from our warehouse.
Is it safe to pay online with payment cards?
Lampmasters uses a very secure payment system: DIBS Payments are made through DIBS via PBS. Your payment card details are protected and encrypted when they are sent for processing by DIBS. In practice, this means that all payment card details are entered via DIBS. Lampmasters will therefore not be aware of what you enter, but will be notified whether the transaction is authorised or not.
Can I return an item I'm not satisfied with?
Yes, you can return your item for up to 100 days after receipt and get a refund of the price of the item excluding shipping costs.
You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us.
If you have cancelled the purchase, you pay for the return yourself.
If the item has lost value because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, you can only get part of the purchase price back.
If the consumer handles the item beyond what is normally permitted in a shop and the value of the item is impaired, lampemesteren.dk is entitled to deduct this impairment from the return amount. The reduction in value is calculated as the difference between the sales price of the product and the market price of the product when sold after the return.
In some cases, goods no longer have any value due to use. In these cases, you are not entitled to a refund.
Packaging can play a role in the loss of value
If you open, damage or lose the packaging, this may constitute a loss of value. If the packaging affects the value of the item when reselling, the cost of new packaging must be deducted.
What amount will I get refunded upon return?
You pay the shipping costs yourself in the event of cancellation.
In the event of a complaint, Lampmasters will refund the price of the item including shipping costs if the complaint is justified. If the item is impaired, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.
For an electronic bank transfer, it may take up to 30 days.
How do I advertise?
If you need to make a complaint about your product, please use the link you received from us when you placed your order with us. Here you can create a complaint and will be guided through some steps. When we receive your complaint, our customer service will process it and you will receive feedback about your complaint as soon as possible.
What if the packaging is damaged when I receive the product?
When you receive your goods, remember to check them for visible damage. If the packaging is damaged or has other visible signs of defect, you should acknowledge receipt of the goods with a reservation for any damage to the contents or refuse to accept the goods altogether and let the driver take it back.
How can I find out if a product complies with the new energy labelling rules?
To find out if a product complies with the new energy labelling rules, do the following:
- Check if the product has a new energy label showing the energy efficiency class from A to G and other information about the product's characteristics.
- Scan the QR code on the label with your smartphone to access the European Product Registration for Energy Labelling (EPREL), where you can find detailed information about the product's energy consumption, luminous flux, colour temperature, bulb type and noise level.
- Compare the product's energy efficiency in lumens per watt with the new energy efficiency class for the product's luminous flux. Lumen is a measure of luminous flux, i.e. how much light the product emits. Watt is a measure of power, i.e. how much energy the product uses.
- Please note that the new energy labelling rules apply to all light sources, such as light bulbs or LED modules/lamps, as well as to control units needed to connect light sources to the electricity grid. The old energy labelling rules only apply to light bulbs and LED lamps.
How do you convert the old energy labels to the new ones?
It's not so easy to convert the old energy labels to the new ones because they use different units of measurement and scales, but to convert the old energy labels to the new ones, you need to know the luminous flux and power of the product. You can find this information on the product's packaging, on the old energy label or on EPREL. You also need to know the new energy efficiency class of the product's luminous flux, which you can find on the new energy label or on this table.
- Once you have the product's luminous flux and power, you can calculate the product's energy efficiency in lumens per watt by dividing the luminous flux by the power. For example, if a product has a luminous flux of 800 lumens and a power of 10 watts, its energy efficiency is 800/10 = 80 lumens per watt.
- You can then compare the product's energy efficiency to the new energy efficiency class for the product's luminous flux. For example, if a product has a luminous flux of 800 lumens, it must have an energy efficiency of at least 210 lumens per watt to be class A, between 120 and 210 lumens per watt to be class B, etc.
- This way you can find out what new energy label a product would have if you only know the old one. But you should be aware that the new energy labels also provide other information about the product's characteristics, such as colour temperature, lampholder type and noise level, that you can't find on the old energy labels.
What is the difference between the old and new 2023 energy labelling?
The old labels used a scale from A++ (most efficient) to E (least efficient), which was based on the product's energy consumption in kWh per 1000 hours. The new labels use a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient), which is based on the product's energy efficiency in lumens per watt2. Lumen is a measure of luminous flux, i.e. how much light the product emits. Watt is a measure of power, i.e. how much energy the product uses.
The new labels also provide more information about the product's luminous flux, colour temperature, lampholder type and energy consumption. Colour temperature is a measure of the colour of the light source, which can be warm (reddish), neutral (white) or cold (bluish). Lampholder type is the part of the product that fits into the lamp or luminaire.
The new labels have a QR code that you can scan with your smartphone to access the European Product Registration for Energy Labelling (EPREL) where you can find detailed information on all models on the European market.
The new labels apply to all light sources, such as light bulbs or LED modules/lamps, as well as control gear needed to connect light sources to the electricity grid. The old labelling only applies to bulbs and LED lamps.
