Dining table lamps - Timeless design and quality
The dining table is a central gathering point in the home, where there should be room for coziness and community. Using dining table lamps, you can add your own personal touch, but the choice is vast and the decision can be difficult. If you are looking for new dining table lamps and are looking for inspiration, read this article for advice and tips on how to find the right lighting for your dining table.
Which lamp should you choose over your dining table?
A frequently asked question is How many dining table lamps should I choose? or How big lamps should I choose? The first step in choosing dining table lamps is to look at your dining table. If your dining table is long, choose two pendant lights, if your table is small and square or round, choose just one lamp. If you have an extendable table, a good tip is to mount the pendants in a power rail so you can always move their position.
The size of lamps is clearly a matter of taste, but it's no secret that large lamps above your dining or living room table are very popular.
Some would say that Hope is a very romantic lamp, but like here, it just fits in incredibly well with the Nordic style and I definitely don't think it's too romantic. It looks great with the dark wall in the background as it highlights the beautiful details of the lamp.
Hope is made of polycarbonate, shaped like petals, which are actually formed by Fresnel lenses, optimizing reflection and refraction of light, improving light output but reducing energy consumption. This is simply a beautiful design lamp with the finest details that are here to stay.

A beautiful dining table lamp that fits well with a long table is Hope. The Hope pendant from Luceplan is seen in many homes and is incredibly popular, especially due to its visual lightness and choice of materials. The light is multiplied and a pleasant, sparkling and calm atmosphere is recreated, sprinkled with thousands of lights that seem like diamonds. This has been the inspiration for the name: Hope.
Here you can see two Hope pendants above a long dining table with high ceilings. If you have a smaller table, you can make do with one and since they come in several sizes, you can easily find one that fits your dining area.

Another pendant light for your dining table that could be an optimal choice is the classic Flowerpot VP1 from &tradition, designed by Verner Panton. VP1 is the smallest of the flowerpot pendants with a diameter of 23cm, so we often see 2 hanging together above the dining table. If you have a smaller table, you can use the VP2, which has a diameter of 50cm.\ The entire Flowerpot series is very popular and available in many colors. You can find them all here

Which bulbs provide the best light over the dining table?
It can be difficult to navigate the vast world of light sources and I totally understand! I will try my best to answer some of the most frequently asked questions that might help you choose the right light source for your dining table lamp. The questions mainly sound like this: Which light source should I choose? Is it best to choose LED and why or What is the LED watt equivalent Most of us are familiar with the classic 40, 60 and 100 Watt, but the new smart LED, why choose it over the incandescent bulb?
)
Finding the right bulb has become more difficult because there are different power consumption compared to the commonly known incandescent bulb. Spare bulbs and LED bulbs deliver much more light, but with much less power, so there you have your first advantage if you choose LED.
As a general rule of thumb, an LED bulb consumes approximately. 10% of the power consumption you're used to for the regular bulb, so you can save a lot of money if you regularly replace your regular bulbs with LEDs. Another advantage is that the bulb has a very long lifespan. The lifetime of an LED bulb is often between 25,000 and 50,000 hours, so while you save money on electricity, you won't have to buy new bulbs anytime soon.
When comparing the efficiency of different bulbs, two main parameters are used; how much light the bulb emits (lumens) and the energy it uses (watts). This means that you actually need to look at lumens to calculate how much light your LED bulb gives you. I've made a clear table where you can see what the conversion will be. When you buy a lamp from Lampmasters.ie, a free light source is always included. The manufacturer recommends a bulb and based on that, we send the recommended bulb. If you want a different bulb, you can of course choose that too.
