Innermost Lamps
Innermost was born in Wembley, North London, back in 1999.
Two designers give up their secure jobs to follow a dream of creating a unique brand that stands for diverse furniture and lighting. In time, they hope to achieve global recognition. The startup is based in a rented corner of an old lighting factory in London NW10.
Innermost immediately began working with a number of other designers from around the world, all of whom have also made London their home. News of the new brand is spreading fast and in fact, Innermost is being approached by designers with ideas and suggestions even before the first products have left the factory.
The design studio and workshop at Wembley becomes an unexpected focal point for London's design talent and a host of new ideas are hatched there. It's the meeting of attitudes and beliefs from far away, and sometimes at odds with each other. However, it always ends up in the end with a fusion of creativity that forms new directions and synergy, essentially the trademark of multicultural London.
All of this has made Innermost what it is today, a brand that focuses on the future, but still manages to integrate it with its past and origins. Founders Steve Jones and Russell Cameron still manage to keep the same focus and passion for purpose and design as when they started Innermost.
They remain steadfast in their original philosophy - to be 'as British as London it self' In short, to be very British and then again not be British in any way... a beautiful and exciting mix of what the world has to offer. Which is London in a nutshell!
A popular hat - say hello to Jeeves and Wooster
Innermost has a vision that their lamp designs should be the center of the room. They want to design lamps that celebrate the social side of life, lamps that bring people closer together.
In their exciting and experimental lighting universe, we find the popular Jeeves and Wooster hats, which in their expression are classically English, but used as lamps they are modern and bring out the smile. With these beautiful hat lamps, Innermost takes a classic element and transforms it into a lamp that can be used in bars but also in the private home.
