Doo Wop
Doo-Wop is a relaunch of the 1950s naval shuttle. Doo-Wop is an unpretentious and simple pendant light that is multi-purpose. It is harmonious in its design and very suitable for hanging alone, in rows or clusters. Doo-Wop brings life to the living room, dining room, kitchen, home office, children's room, hallway, stairwell, bedroom - in short, it brings both a breath of fresh air and good lighting to the rooms in your home.
Doo-Wop is an old favorite that is being reintroduced. Doo Wop was designed for naval buildings in the late 50s and could be seen in canteens, offices, hallways and many other places. That's why it's also known as the Navy Shuttle.
Doo-Wop remained on the program until the early 80s and then went out of production. Since then, they have been happily traded through antique shops and auctions, leading to their reintroduction in rejuvenated versions in contemporary colors.
The pendant complements the existing multi-shade lamps in Louis Poulsen's range in the finest way, and fits fabulously well into the lighting philosophy. The light is delivered exactly as the shape promises it will and the lamp has no details that are not there to contribute to the lighting value.
In short, Doo-Wop emits a pleasant light that is primarily directed downwards but also contributes to the good lighting atmosphere in the room. Recommended for the living room, dining room, kitchen, office, nursery, hallway, stairwell or bedroom.
