e3light Bulbs

The Danish company e3light has specialized in developing and producing lighting for more than 20 years. They focus especially on functionality and the right visual experience of light. They also demand high quality in terms of energy-efficient and energy-saving lighting, while creating sustainable growth and a greener future. Among the range of LED bulbs from e3light, all bulbs have a Ra of over 90 - in comparison, a standard LED light source is typically 80 CRI.

At Lampmasters.ie you will find a wide selection of LED bulbs from e3light. Choose from LED bulbs with E14 or E27 sockets - both with the look we associate with a traditional incandescent bulb, but also the decorative bulbs with a modern vintage look. The e3light range also includes the Kerte bulb, fridge bulb, GU10 for spot lighting and the G9 bulb.

What does Ra mean?

Ra, also known as CRI (Color Rendering Index), does not indicate the color temperature of a light source - it is defined in Kelvin. Ra, on the other hand, describes the ability of light to reveal the colors of different objects. It is therefore advantageous to use a bulb with a high Ra for art exhibitions and when shooting in a photo studio. It is important to emphasize that Ra is independent of color temperature. Color temperature creates mood, but does not affect color reproduction.

Ra/CRI is given on a scale from 0 to 100. When the LED bulb first came on the market, it typically had a Ra of 60 to 69. A lot of progress has been made in the meantime and today you can easily find an LED bulb with a much higher Ra value. Among the range of LED bulbs from e3light, all bulbs have an Ra of over 90 - in comparison, a standard LED light source is typically 80 Ra.
