Philips Hue Bluetooth
With a Philips Hue Bluetooth bulb, you get the same great features that we already know from the Philips Hue bulbs, namely the ability to control your home lighting via your smartphone or tablet. With Bluetooth, you can control your bulb directly without having a Phillips Hue Bridge connected. By installing the Philips Hue app, you can control the light as long as your bulb is within Bluetooth range. Choose from three different Philips Hue series:
Hue White - customize the brightness: Simple and comfortable lighting that you can control via remote control or smartphone. With the Hue White series you have the ability to control the brightness.
Hue White Ambience - adjust temperature and brightness: Dim and control the color from cool to warm light (2200-6500 kelvin) so you can adapt the light to any time of day.
Hue White & Color Ambience - adjust color, temperature and brightness: With the Color & Ambience series, you can choose from 16 million colors and control the light temperature and brightness. Set the color for movie night, game night or study time - all from an app on your smartphone.
The advantage of a Bluetooth bulb is that it does not need to use a Philips Hue Bridge to work. Once the bulb is mounted in the socket, it can be easily controlled via the Philips Hue app without additional installation. The Hue bulbs with Bluetooth can also be for those who want to get a taste of the Hue system before going all-in with bridge and advanced features.
Add up to 10 Bluetooth light sources in the house, easily controlled via the Philips Hue app when you are within the bulb's range of approximately 10 meters. Use the intelligent light source to create the right atmosphere in a single room by increasing or decreasing the brightness and changing the temperature of the light color. Homes typically need different lighting at different times of the day - use either lighting that energizes everyday activities in the home or relaxing lighting to get going in the morning or find peace in the evening.
