Ronni Gol started LIGHT-POINT in 1995 at the age of 25 and has since developed the products, company and concept. Today, LIGHT-POINT offers a wide range of lamps designed and produced in-house, but also an exciting agency for primarily quality lamps, as Gol is a magnet for ideas, inspiration and new initiatives. The agency spans manufacturers such as Leucos, Illumina (now actually taken over by LIGHT-POINT), Morosini, Evistyle and the ultra-classic JJ architectural lamp designed by Jac Jacobsen in 1937.
For the past 10 years, Ronni Gol has been responsible for the lines behind some of the most iconic and popular lamps that LIGHT-POINT produces. Gol draws inspiration from his travels around the world, which means that New York, the Far East and the clean, simple hotel look are just some of the elements that creep into the lines.
The breadth of the range and high quality combined with innovation and play with the latest in LED provides a strong portfolio that covers everything from lighting for private homes to professional spaces such as offices, shops, hotels, cafés and restaurants. High quality is the cornerstone on which it's all based, and it's precisely what made Ronni Gol change track and start his own company when his job as a buyer became too much when inferior products kept turning up.
