Lighting track

Here you will find power strips for ceiling mounting. Place the lightbar exactly where you need lamps and lighting that can be moved quickly and easily when needed. Place the pendant above the dining table in a rail so you can easily adjust the position of the lamp when extending the table. A track with spotlights is a great solution if you want to illuminate pictures or art - for example Antidark's Designline Tube Kit, which comes with three or four spotlights. The entire Designline series can be used for both pendants and spotlights and is available in black, white and brass.

Light rail

If you're looking for a flexible solution for your pendants and spotlights, track lighting is the right choice. At Lampmasters.ie we have a wide selection of light rails and spare parts to suit your needs - you can find LED light rails, ceiling light rails and light rails in different colours and lengths from brands like Antidark, Halo Design and Lindby.

Light rails are a hugely practical and flexible tool to use for your lighting, especially above the dining table, in the hallway or over the wardrobe. Here you can decide where to place your lights and freely distribute them on the track, and thus also where the light should be directed according to your needs, which you can of course change at any time. With a track light, you also have the opportunity to customize your lamp and put together the spotlights or pendants that fit your decor and lighting needs. It can also help to give your home more edge and an atmosphere that makes your home feel different.

How do I choose a track light?

If you are unsure about the length and bevel of your track, the first thing to consider is where to place the lights. If it's for your business, a 3-phase rail can give you more advantages as you can use more watts and ignitions, whereas a 1-phase rail is more suitable for the home as it's typically a bit smaller, often has a neater and simpler design and only has a single live wire. With a 1-phase track, you can only adjust the lights at the same time, whereas with a 3-phase track you can turn on, turn off and dim the respective lights separately. Whichever track you choose, you are guaranteed a versatile form of lighting.

Next, you can start thinking about where you need lighting in your home or business. For example, if it's above the dining table, the length of the track obviously plays an important role. For example, if you have 3-4 lamps, you need to assess how close they need to be to each other, measure their circumference and then calculate the length you need. The same considerations also apply if you need general room lighting where it is essential that the lamps in question can reach all corners of the room. So when choosing your track, it's generally important to take into account the application, the room and the type of lamps to get the right track for you.

Light rail for pendant light

As mentioned, you have many options with a track light, and if you need lighting over your long or short dining table, a track light with pendants can be the optimal choice. Here you can distribute your lamps along the table and adjust them as needed so that the light extends across the entire dining table - and if you extend the table, you can loosen and move the lamps further to one side or the other of the light rail with a simple twist of the pendant adapter. Depending on the bulb you choose for the lamp, one or more pendants can enhance the cozy and relaxed atmosphere that is created when gathering around the table with family and friends.

Light rail with spotlights

If you need more focused and direct lighting, a track with spotlights could be just the solution you need. Here you can aim the individual spots in the same track in different directions depending on your needs, and you can also easily change the position of your spots to either sit closer together or further apart.

If your guests have trouble seeing the details of a painting in your gallery, or you can't see what clothes you choose in the morning, the light rail can give you a better overview. Here you can use spotlights in your track for focused lighting that you can easily tilt and turn in different directions and angles depending on your changing needs. However, if you want more general room lighting, you can also use spotlights in your track and place them in different directions so that the light reaches all corners.

LED light bar

Spots in your track can contribute to the general room lighting, but you can also choose an LED track, which with its simple design and set-up can be mounted on the ceiling or wall and spread an even and constant light throughout the room. For example, you can mount your LED track as edge lighting on a staircase, in your hallways or under the cabinets in your kitchen. An LED track is also an energy-saving light source without compromising on brightness.

Power strip for lamps

A track is a flexible and great solution for your pendants and spotlights, as you can place them in different formations and positions according to your needs and mood. A light rail above the dining table is a great solution here, as it allows you to spread your light out a bit more, both when the table is set as usual and when you need to extend the table in case of more guests. For example, you can choose a 3-meter track so you have plenty of space to spread out your light sources for good, even room lighting where everyone can see each other and their food - but you can also take advantage of this track for the ceiling by your wardrobe. A track light for lamps ensures that you don't have to stick to just one position for your pendants and spotlights, as you can continuously change their position and light direction depending on what needs to be illuminated.
