The Fun series was originally created by Verner Panton in 1964.

The lamp consists of mother-of-pearl discs held together by metal rings, which creates a comfortable and diffuse light distribution.

Verner Panton (1926-1998) was one of the most colourful people in Danish design and architecture history. He was educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1955. Panton is especially known for his vibrantand organic designs and his love of plastic. He has won countless prizes for his unconventional work.
