HistoryJasper Morrison was born in London I 1959 and is the designer behind the Luxmaster Lamp and the Glo Ball pendants for Italian company
Flos. He graduated with a BA in design from Kingston Polytechnic Design School, London, and later on took his master at The Royal College of Art for Postgraduate studies.
In 1986 he started his design company in London. He started designing for large companies as SCP, FSB,
Vitra and Cappellini. In 1992 he designed a large series of household appliances for Cappellini, together with a large group of young designers. In 1995, Jasper Morrisons office was given the assignment to design the new “Hannover Tram”, the largest of its kind in Europe at that time. The first vehicle was shown at the Hannover Industrial Fair in 1997 and won a big design award.
