Louis Poulsen – new lamps and pendants
The company is well-known in the lighting industry, in particular thanks to its lengthy partnership with the Danish designer Poul Henningsen. Together, they’ve created a host of different lamps, including pendants, floor lamps, wall lamps, table lamps and outdoor lamps. Throughout the years, the company has also collaborated with other recognised and talented designers and architects, including Oki Sato, Verner Panton and Vilhelm Lauritzen.
Enigma, Flindt, and Limited Edition
The collaboration with talented designers includes international and national talents. Amongst the international talents is the Japanese designer Shoichi Uchiyama, who created the popular Enigma lamp. This lamp has recently been released in black. An exciting and delicate new product from the traditional Danish lighting brand.
Amongst the national designers with whom the company have worked is Christian Flindt. He started out creating an outdoor bollard, which was named after him. The partnership with Louis Poulsen continued and now includes wall-mounted outdoor lamps with a beautiful, round shape, available in various colours.
Once in a while, the more traditional lamps designed by Poul Henningsen himself are given a makeover. The company releases Limited Editions of the iconic PH lamps, including pendants, table lamps and floor lamps. As of late, the company has reimagined the beloved 3/2 table lamp. Drawing on inspiration from the oldest Poul Henningsen models and a sharp eye for modern trends, Louis Poulsen has launched a beautiful Limited Edition in amber and brass.
