The Melt table lamp in copper is part of Tom Dixon’s mission to “design, illuminate, and decorate the future”. This mission has provided us with a beautiful selection of intriguing lamps in the Melt collection.
Vacuum metallisation is the advanced technique that has resulted in the Melt table lamp in copper. This is the wonderful result of Tom Dixon’s crazy experiments that he manages to pull off right under our noses. When turned off, Melt hangs with is secret mirrored surface like a golden metallic metal lump. When the light is on, the inner glow comes out to greet the world and spellbinds us.
