AJ Royal Pendant 370 was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960. The pendant was made for the SAS Royal in Copenhagen as part of a larger design for the hotel. Numerous lamps from the collection have since become design icons—the classic AJ collection has become particularly famous around the world.
The simple geometric shape of the lamp—a hemisphere—is only broken by the slats on the top. It creates a fantastic downlight while a soft uplight emerges through the slats.
The pendant is available in three different sizes with diameters of 24, 37, and 50 cm. The energy-saving LED version comes with a diffuser to give a uniform light that doesn’t blind. Perfect for lighting up the dining table, office, or showroom where it provides a comfortable glow and truly sets the mood.
