The lampshade is upholstered in fabric for a cosy effect. At the same time, the discreet black exterior is offset by a shiny golden interior. As the lampshade is open at both ends, you get a harmonious two-part light that shines both indirectly upwards at a wide angle and directly downwards, so you can use the light from the lamp for reading or working. The lamp is operated via a footswitch on the cable.
