Buds from Foscarini – a beautiful take on a classic glass lamp!!
Rodolfo Dordoni is the man behind the popular Lumiere lamps from Foscarini, not to mention the countless other designs he has to his name. His Italian roots are clearly visible in his designs and you can’t go wrong with Buds’ quality.
Buds is the product of a painstaking artisanal process. Five different types of glass (crystal, color, white, paliesco and crystal again) are layered as the shade is mouth-blown, making each piece unique. The colour of the shade changes depending on whether it’s switched off or on. Muted tones are reflected in the off position, with warm, soft light pouring out when Buds is on.
Buds pendant comes in three different shapes, each with a given color; brown, grey or bamboo green. There is also a white version of each shape.
