Callimaco Floor lamp LED Gold is a true design classic from the first glance. The lamp belongs to the so-called ceiling washer lamps, named after their beautiful light effect: the lampshade is placed upside down so that it emits a beautiful uplight and "bathes" the ceiling in beautiful light, which is then spread out at a wide angle, making it a great alternative to conventional general lighting. The lamp is equipped with a handle so it can easily be repositioned in the room. At the same time, it has an internal dimmer that allows you to regulate the brightness.
The lamp was designed by Ettore Sottsass, the founder of the Memphis design group, whose ideas and design orientation are clearly reflected in the Callimaco Floor lamp: strong colours, geometric shapes, unconventional proportions and playful details. Today, the floor lamp is part of the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the National Museum of Israel in Jerusalem.
