"When I develop something, I don't think about the design," says Mario Bellini, the designer of this dish.
"I start with what has already been designed. It's like an unexpected exchange. The challenge is to come across, reject and then rediscover what came before from the previous generations." Mario Bellini describes that he wants to create something that we can leave as evidence for future generations.
The dish is made from PMMA plastic and the texture that hides beneath the surface gives the dish charm and personality. Use the dish indoors and outdoors - and use it for practical tasks as well as decoration.
