The FL/Y pendant in Copper is made from transparent methacrylate in all the colours of the rainbow. This material has a certain airiness to it and uses colours that remind you of soap bubbles reflecting light into the room.
Kartell recommends that you hang up the lamp before removing the protective film to minimise the risk of scratches. You can watch instructional video about installation here. You should also be aware that the FL/Y pendant is manufactured as a single piece and the manufacturing process can leave small marks on the product.
