The FollowMe Plus table lamp from Marset is an incredibly flexible and decorative lamp that can be used in various places. Use it on your terrace on late summer nights, as a regular table lamp on your sideboard or the small table in the hallway, or as a soft light for your child’s room. You can even use it in your own room if you like – this lamp is portable.
This is a larger version of the first FollowMe, but it offers the same flexibility.
The built-in battery is charged used a USB port, using the cable included or the adapter for 230V. The battery lasts for up to 5 hours at full capacity, but at a cosy level it should be able to last up to 20 hours. This is possible thanks to the LED technology that allows you to dim the light if you want it to be cosier – or if you just want it to last longer.
The Spanish designer Inma Bermúdez found inspiration for FollowMe in her idyllic hometown outside Valencia. It was something as commonplace as the chickens sleeping in the trees that inspired her. Inma thought it might be fun if they could bring a light up with them – and that idea sparked this portable lighting solution.
The matte white polycarbonate lampshade is mounted in a way that allows tilting. The handle is made from oak and works incredibly well with the cool, white lampshade and the elegant brass switch. This is a light and stylish lamp that offers a variety of uses.
