Follow Me Terracotta is a modern, wireless, battery-powered table lamp with a matching handle. The designer was inspired by the petroleum lamp she used every morning and evening when going outside on her parents’ farm. She wanted to unite the practical lamp with a modern kind of functionality, and the result of this endeavour is the portable Follow Me lamp.
The table lamp can be charged by USB, and you can choose between three different strengths. Once the battery is fully charged, it has a life expectancy of around 5 hours at full strength, 10 hours at medium strength, and 20 hours at low strength. This makes it the perfect choice for a portable reading light or an atmospheric light for the dining table.
With its three built-in LED light bulbs, the lamp illuminates the room in all directions with a Kelvin rating of 2700 – this means that the lamp has a white but warm glow. The Follow Me lamp is not an outdoor lamp, so it cannot withstand direct water. It can handle a little moisture and the occasional drop of water, so you can go ahead and bring it out onto the terrace on a warm summer evening.
