The Meter Half Floor lamp Cocoon/Alu is a beautiful lamp model that appeals to anyone with a penchant for an architectural expression in style and interior design. The lamp comes in two beautiful versions of half a metre and a full metre. Both rise from the floor like antique columns - upwards and with a solid, holistic expression. Each lamp is composed of an aluminium base in the same shape as the lampshade and a matching aluminium frame covered in smooth white fabric in a striking imitation of Greek marble columns, while the wire structure underneath mimics the cannelure of its architectural counterpart.
When switched on, the light bulb shines out in all directions through the thin, white shade fabric in a soft and pleasant glare-free glow. Due to the diffuser function of the fabric, you are guaranteed perfectly uniform lighting on all sides. The lamp has a built-in dimming function so you can adjust the brightness.
