The Havas collection is like the other lamps we know and love from Pilke—elegant and respectful of repurposed materials and the brand’s Finnish roots.
This lamp is no exception, and its birchwood construction is an impressive nod to the enormous forests of Finland. The model was designed by Tuuka Halonen—one of the two halves of Pilke—and he has dubbed it a geometric 3D puzzle because you have to assemble the lamp yourself. In the video below, he shows you how to do just that. (NB: The video only applies to Havas 50, not the 40 or 70 models).
