HUE Outdoor Lightstrip 5m is an outdoor light strip that can also be used indoors. The lamp is connected to the smart Philips HUE system, after which you can control the brightness and colour of the light, set a timer, and much more. All you need is a Philips HUE Bridge (If you already have one, you can use that—up to 50 Philips HUE products can be connected to one Bridge) and the HUE app, which is available for Android and Apple.
The Philips HUE Tap wireless remote or Philips HUE DIM Switch allows you to adjust the light without your smartphone or tablet. These can be set up through the app, after which they work as remotes for your light or smart switches you can mount on the wall.
The simple stripe is unique because it doesn’t have visible diodes but rather a diffuse glow with a completely uniform colour. The lamp is incredibly flexible and can be shaped and bent to fit your outdoor spaces—whether along paths or flowerbeds, on your fence, eaves, or walls, or to accomplish all sorts of fun light projects. The only limit is your imagination.
