The IC C/W2 Ceiling/Wall Light Matt Black balances between simplicity and elegance while juggling form and function. At the centre of the lamp is the perfectly round glass sphere that balances on a slender black rod, giving a proud expression and a great contrast.
The designer behind the series, Michael Anastassiades, came across a video clip of the young juggler, Tony Duncan. In the video, he was spinning a set of balls, moving them around on his arms and wrapping them around his fingers. He was almost hypnotised by his skill and when he suddenly saw the balls lying perfectly still on his arm, he wanted to capture this magical moment! This became his inspiration and his starting point for the IC Light series.
ATTENTION!
If you choose a light source that is clear/transparent, you should expect some shadows in the opal glass of the screen. If you want to avoid the shadows, you need to buy a matt light bulb that does not create shadows in the lampshade.
