The lamp is the result of a fruitful collaboration between lighting manufacturer Nemo Lighting and Japanese designer Arihiro Miyake. The design is based on the geometric principle of the Möbius loop, where top, bottom, inside and outside are indistinguishable and flow into each other. This not only gives an interesting and art-orientated shape to the appearance of the lamp but also ensures a uniform and harmonious light pattern when switched on.
