The light is controlled using an app on your tablet or smartphone. You can opt for the simple lighting where you connect the lamp to Bluetooth and get full control of the colour and brightness. To use the more advanced functions, such as the timer, control of the light when you aren’t at home, and adding smart Philips Hue accessories, connect your lamp to a Philips Hue Bridge. If you already have a Philips Hue system in your home, you can connect the lamp to this—up to 50 devices can be connected to a single Philips Hue Bridge.
