Mirage is named after the optical phenomenon that has so often featured in films and series that feature a desert scene. When warm air moves over colder air that is close to the ground, a mirage occurs that tricks the eye and in films often results in the hero seeing water in a dry desert where there is no water at all.

OBS: The Mirage lamp series from Light-Point is circular around the recessed part. This means that an ordinary round cutter can drill a hole for the lamp - and that Mirage lamps are therefore extremely easy to install!
