Model 537 Black/Black is a unique table lamp by the Italian brand Astep. In honour of his grandfather Gino Sarfatti, the Astep founder Alessandro Sarfatti relaunched one of his designs from 1950. Although the lamp has a long history to its name, it’s still a great fit for modern décor. The asymmetrical ladder rises up through the thin aluminium lampshade and serves as a handle—a feature that has become popular in modern design. With his vision to make light portable, the master of light design was ahead of his time.
With a height of 36 cm and a diameter of 40 cm, the table lamp is the perfect fit for a desk lamp at the office, and it also looks great on the nightstand or the dresser if you want a cosy light. The simple and aesthetic design is a great fit for most homes, as it ensures a fantastic light and a sophisticated look.
