The Monolith Incense Holder Light Brown presents itself in a holistic design created from a single block of marble, which also gives rise to its name. The monolithic design concept is a stroke of genius by the Russian-German designer Oleg Pugachev, and gives the incense holder a particularly stylish look with a focus on simple forms and quality materials. The marble block is carefully carved and sanded so that the natural marbling is clearly visible on the surface. As marble is a natural stone, individual variations will occur, giving each incense holder its own unique surface pattern.
The holder itself consists of a cylindrical cut-out of the rectangular marble block that is turned to sit crosswise, creating a clever counterbalance when supplying the holder with incense sticks. This keeps them in an angled position and creates a harmonious balance in the overall ensemble.
