The design came to the English designer Peter Jamieson during a stay in New York, where he was inspired by the American metropolis and the glamourous lifestyle of the people that live in the Big Apple—the city that never sleeps.
The glamour of the big city is clearly reflected in Jamieson’s creation with its glossy surface finish and smart diamond pattern that makes the hard lampshade look like a soft mattress. The design gets a unique touch in the form of a red stripe that runs along the lampshade’s inside.
