NJP Table Lamp Lamp with Clamp 2700K Light Grey was designed by Oki Sato from the Japanese design studio nendo. The NJP table lamp is a modern take on the classic architect lamp, and its simple, stylish expression allows its functional components to shine, resulting in an expression that speaks for itself.
The lamp’s functionality has been carefully thought out. The arm’s two joints provide impressive flexibility and make it easy to adjust the lamp. As an added detail, the springs in the joint are visible, increasing the lamp’s decorative expression. The opening at the back of the lampshade, which faces the arm, allows stepless adjustments of the head and ventilation of the LED units.
The fixture emits a direct, glare-free, horizontal glow, and part of the light is reflected backwards by the head of the lamp, illuminating the top of the fixture. The ergonomic design of the head shapes the light and helps ensure optimal directionality. A simple mechanical system enables a wide range of motion, so you can adjust the light to suit your specific workspace.
The lamp has a white coating on the inside, creating a comfortable, diffuse light.
The lamp comes with a two-metre cable fitted with a dimmer switch with two settings. You can also set a timer, so the lamp turns off automatically after four or eight hours.
