Pausania Table Lamp Green/Alu LED is a reissue of the well-known classic that first saw the light of day in 1983. The lamp was designed by Ettore Sottsass, who in the modern version has rethought the light source and made use of energy-efficient LEDs. Modern lighting technology offers flexible lighting with customised lighting effects. The light can not only be dimmed but also change colour temperature from warm white to daylight white. Both the green lampshade and the underside light up beautifully when switched on.
The table lamp has a geometric, rectilinear and clear design with high recognition value. The base is made of black synthetic resin, while the lampshade has a deep green tone reminiscent of the Greek writer Pausanias' many vivid travel descriptions of the Greek islands - a classic colour combination that emphasises the elegance of the lamp.
