PH 2/1 Portable Table Lamp High Lustre Chrome Plated is an iconic design by Poul Henningsen, based on the unique three-shade system from 1926 that ensures a soft, comfortable and glare-free light. Poul Henningsen designed not just a lamp but an entire lighting system that has resulted in a variety of models over the years, including pendants, floor lamps, wall lamps and table lamps. As a reinterpretation of the iconic system, this PH 2/1 model was first introduced in 2011 and again in 2024 as a portable version.
The PH 2/1 Portable table lamp comes in two versions, including Brass Metallised and High Lustre Chrome Plated, so you can choose the model that best matches your interior style. Unique to this model is its portable function and compact size, which means you can place it anywhere in your interior without being limited by a cord or socket. In addition, the lamp has an IP44 tightness rating, which also makes it suitable for use outside the home, so you can enjoy its pleasant lighting on a warm summer evening on the terrace.
In addition, the lamp is equipped with a unique Dim To Warm function where you can switch between 1800 and 2700 kelvin, perfect for creating a cozy and candle-like atmosphere, and since it is also equipped with stepless dimming, you can set it to exactly your preferences. Here, it's easy to switch between the two functions on the switch located on the base of the lamp.
The lamp has a lifespan of 5.5 hours at 100% brightness, 13 hours at 45%, 45 hours at 20% and 120 hours at 5%, after which you can easily charge it again using the included USB cable. Note that no adapter is included.
