Hue Dim DIM Switch is a remote control/switch for controlling your Philips Hue lighting. When you set the light using the smartphone app (read more here), you can connect a Hue Dim Switch, which doubles as a remote control for your light. That way, you don’t need to grab your phone every time you want to turn your lights on or off or simply dim them.
The battery-driven remote control can be mounted on the wall with the double-sided tape included with your purchase. The wall bracket uses magnets to hold the remote control, so you can easily remove it and carry it around the home with you.
If you’re connected to your Philips Hue units via Bluetooth, you can attach up to 10 units per Dim Switch. You can attach even more units with a Philips Hue Bridge and set up communication between switches.
