Puff Pendant Brass is a mesmerising spectacle of geometric shapes that together form a complex but harmonious whole. The lampshade is ingeniously composed of metal panels with a characteristic rhomboid shape. Each panel is in turn composed of myriad smaller rhombuses, giving the lamp an almost jewel-like appearance. The panels are shaped to curve upwards in a surprising balloon shape, giving the impression of an inflated unit that appears both round and angular at the same time. The panels are also perforated, allowing light to shine through thousands of tiny holes when you switch on the lamp. At the same time, the light reflects off the many uniform pieces of metal, creating a glittering spectacle with an amazing pattern of light and shadow all around the lamp.
