Jasper Morrison was inspired to create this pendant when he was looking at the lights at Smithfield Market in London. Smithfield is a modern restyling of a famous and popular shape.
Simple and elegant with neat lines and a sophisticated shape in stainless steel. The light lives up to both functional and practical needs. Smithfield has an indirect light source, available in two versions with different light technology: R7s halogen or compact 24W fluorescent, the latter of which is available with or without a dimmer.
With its understated and discreet design, Smithfield merges perfectly into all surroundings, and it is available in lacquered black, white, or this new Mud version that we can go ahead and call Grey. Neutral colours that hearken back to the industrial background of the design while highlighting its status as a versatile object.
