Souvenir of United Lebanon by SOUL, the lighting collection is heavily inspired by the streets, corridors and alleys of the historic neighbourhoods of Lebanon, which open up into openings where magical columns of light enter.
Designed by Charles Kalpakian, who is known for working in sculptural forms, the SOUL series is clearly characterised by his skilful design hands. There are six shapes in the range, and combining them with each other can create a fantastic story on the living room wall, kitchen wall and in the hallway.
If you look closely, you might spot the small metal sculpture that either sits or stands somewhere on the lamp. According to DCWéditions, you can think of this little man as a self-portrait of Charles Kalpakian. Each box comes with two small Charles Kalpakian figurines, which you can place however you like!
