The lamp is made of transparent plastic, revealing the machinery behind the socket. The socket itself houses a transparent cable that rises to the ceiling, twisting around the metal pole that keeps Spock floating at the perfect angle. The metal pole is connected to a ball joint, so you can tilt the lamp.
Use Spock in front of the wardrobe, bathroom mirror, or dresser. The strong metal pole and ball joint construction means that Spock is fit for mounting on walls as well as ceilings.
