Spool Runner 80x200 Grey/Yellow is designed to create a relaxed and homely atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. Designed by Berlin-based design group Studio Terhedebrügge for Norwegian lighting company Northern, the runner shows all the signs of thoughtful and well-executed design craftsmanship. The rug is named after the spool used to spin the yarn, which is extracted from used plastic bottles and spun into strong and durable PET yarn before being woven by professional Indian carpet weavers into a tight and cohesive whole.
The runner has a graphic, three-dimensional pattern on its surface that both gives the design an individual character and at the same time makes it dirt-repellent and resistant to stains. For this reason, the runner can be successfully used both indoors and outdoors.
