Artemide’s Tolomeo Mega Floor Lamp dates from 1987 in its original form and is without doubt the most popular floor lamp in the world - a frontrunner when it comes to design, illumination, comfort and aesthetics.

One of the reasons for Tolomeo’s popularity is the flexibility of the fully adjustable body, allowing full control of the light. The choice of quality materials and the focus on sturdy workmanship certainly play their part too.
The Tolomeo is one of Artemide’s many modern classics and has won numerous prizes since its introduction. Among these honours are the SNAI Oscar des Architectes d’Interieur Paris and HAUS Industrieform Deutschland in 1987and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro for best design in 1989. More recent wins include the Observeur du Design Paris for Micro in 2001 and Designpreis in 2008 for Fluo.
This lamp can be found in private homes, offices, hotels, libraries – almost any location you can imagine. The Tolomeo collection includes table, ceiling, wall and floor lamps and pendants in a range of sizes, colours and finishes.
