Tress Pendant 2m Medium White is a detail-orientated lamp with an interesting design that catches the eye right from the start. The lamp has a relatively simple and geometrically clean design. However, the surface is perforated by an intricate pattern of holes that makes the shade material resemble a braided structure. The lampshade is made of composite material on a lacquered fibreglass base - an intricate web of threads and resin that acts as decoration, structure and diffuser at the same time. The combination of open and closed structure creates a beautiful play of light where the light can escape through the holes but at the same time is covered by the lampshade, so the light appears diffused and glare-free. The hole structure creates a fascinating interplay between light and shadow that is projected to all sides of the lamp, creating highly decorative lighting.
