According to the designer, the Vision 20/20 Wall Lamp from French DCW is a tool in itself. The French lamp manufacturer took a closer look at the wall lamp and removed everything that doesn’t contribute to its functionality. What remains is a brutalist, minimalist product that aims to fix the problem: a lack of light.
The lamp is a tool for reading, so it looks best wherever you need a practical light, but don’t let the shape trick you. The neat and concrete approach to the lamp is an expression in itself, and just like the classic industry lamps that prioritised purpose and functionality above shape, the Vision wall lamp rises to the task, becoming an artwork in itself. The French lamp is decorative like an old camera—designed with its purpose in focus. As DCW says, Vision is a lamp without frills.
