The VL38 wall lamp in black is part of the VL38 collection, which also consists of a table and floor lamp. It is based on the original table lamp that was used in studios in Radiohuset (the former headquarters of DR, the Danish national broadcaster) since 1945.
It is available in white or black, both with brushed brass. The adjustable lamp head has an organic shape with a matte lacquer and a diagonal cut. The lamp arm has a brushed brass finish. The LED light source has two light levels of respectively 50% and 100%, which give a precise, downward-facing light that is especially suited for work and general comfortable lighting. The lamp shade can be tilted up and down and turned to the sides.
Aside from the VL38 collection, the old Radiohus pendant has also been re-launched under the name VL45 Radiohus pendant.
NB! Brass is a natural material that changes based on its surroundings, and as a result, the surface of your brass product will become darker and less glossy over time. This is a natural process that allows each lamp to develop its own individual patina. If you want the surface to stay glossy and light, you can use a brass polisher. Note that you need to use a special polishing product made for brass or copper with as little abrasive as possible. Use a soft cloth to polish your product, and make sure to use the included gloves, so you don’t leave fingerprints.
