Yasuke Table Lamp Black from the French brand DCW éditions just arrived from the future. The two legs continue elegantly above the glowing oval top, culminating in a lampshade characterised by thin lines that slide down the body of the lamp to become a black patterned silhouette in front of the light source. The legs run through the glowing centre and reappear on top of the lamp, where they serve as dimmers. One adjusts the temperature of the light, while the other adjusts the brightness.
The designer thinktank BrichetZiegler is behind the design, and with the Yasuke lamp, the two futuristic designers want to take you on a journey through time, from the samurai of ancient Japan to a trip across the galaxy onboard a spaceship.
