Toldbod
With its minimalist and utterly calm expression, the Toldbod lamp has become a true classic and hangs in many homes all over the world! The Toldbod series consists of several models - 290 designed in 1982, 155 from 2006 and 120 designed in 2009. In particular, the modern and beautiful Toldbod 120 has really made its mark on the lighting scene. The Toldbod pendant hangs beautifully on its own, but also looks incredible when hung in clusters, perhaps different colors and at different heights? In February 2018, Toldbod 120 was launched in new and beautiful colors, including pink, light grey and blue-grey, so Toldbod now also fits into the colorful home or perhaps can function as a "color splash" in a more minimalist home?

If you need an outdoor light, the Toldbod 155 is a great choice! Simple shape and with a beautiful downward light.\ The Toldbod 120 pendant is great above the dining table, in the kitchen or perhaps in the children's room. Crafted in cast aluminum, making it strong and durable. The powder-coated surface gives the pendant a soft, silky finish that also makes it easy to maintain. The pendant uses a G9 halogen bulb.
Louis Poulsen's design team developed Toldbod 120 in 2009 and based the design on the pendant's predecessors, Toldbod 290 from 1982 and Toldbod 155 from 2006. The entire Toldbod range uses an advanced light reflector based on the PH Ellipse reflector. It was the last street lighting concept conceived by the legendary Poul Henningsen.
The design of the lamp has proven to be excellent for both indoor and outdoor use. The reflector guarantees glare-free, uniform and symmetrical light, perfect for both focused task lighting and ambient lighting. Toldbod directs most of the light downwards, which is in line with PH's philosophy of creating and shaping light to illuminate the room without shining directly into the eyes.
